carbon footprint
We are a carbon neutral business
Increased Carbon Dioxide (CO²e) emissions in the atmosphere are the biggest cause of Global Warming on our Planet.
By funding carbon offsetting projects, we help to remove and prevent further CO²e emissions around the globe in the most impactful way.
The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) list carbon offsetting as one of the most impactful ways to tackle climate change.
Increased Carbon Dioxide (CO²) emissions in the atmosphere are one of the biggest causes of global warming and so by offsetting our carbon footprint – with projects to remove CO² from the atmosphere, we can balance out our emissions to become Carbon Neutral.
We can make a difference with small changes to our lifestyle – changing our energy provider and usage, changing what we eat, looking at our plastics use and recycling, changing how and when we travel, as well as many others. However, we cannot stop our carbon footprint completely.
By becoming carbon neutral, we offset all the emissions we cannot stop completely, making a positive impact on the climate crisis.
Some of the projects we help to fund
The Project is a run of river Small Hydropower Plant (SHP) with installed capacity of 10.656 MW. It can generate an average of 61,583 MWh per year, considering two Francis turbines, with horizontal axis, and two generator units. The project is connected to the Brazilian National Interconnected System.
The project activity reduces greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) that would have occurred otherwise in the absence of the project activity by avoiding electricity generation by fossil fuel sources in the grid and in the time when the additionality was verified, it reduces an average of 17,183 tCO2 per year. It has several social and environmental programs that provides historical datas over soil and water quality in the area nearby Project activity.
The SHP is located in the municipality of Nova Marilândia, on the State of Mato Grosso, Midwest region of Brazil. The region’s main economic activities are agriculture of soy, rice, corn and beans, as well as coffee and citrus.
The Forest of Marston Vale is a Community Forest and a Charity, planting trees and using woodlands to make life better for the people and wildlife in the 61 square mile area of the Marston Vale, between Bedford and Milton Keynes.
The Charity has planted over 2 million trees to transform the landscape and improve the prospects of the Marston Vale, because trees make life better – for people, for wildlife and for the planet. They help to cool and clean our air, lock up carbon, reduce flooding, provide sustainable raw materials, and are our best hope in combatting the climate crisis. The Charity’s ultimate goal is 30% tree cover across the Forest and that means planting another 5 million trees.
Carbon Neutral Britain™ helps the UK take the lead in saving the planet. So far their projects have helped offset over 500,000 Tonnes of CO²e and plant over 3 million trees, helping stop climate change and provide essential forest habitats for endangered wildlife.
Increased Greenhouse Gas (CO²e) emissions in the atmosphere are the biggest cause of Global Warming on our Planet. By offsetting our Carbon Footprint lipolife will have a lasting impact on Climate Change for generations to come.
In addition to protecting the climate, every Carbon Neutral project also supports local communities with sustainable development – such as providing safe drinking water, improving health and creating local jobs, as well as having a positive impact on wildlife, ecology and biodiversity.
