Celebrating 50 Years of Innovation:
How Our Award-Winning Partnership Transformed Liposomal Science

It's official - lipolife® are award-winning liposomal supplements
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: our collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has been recognised as one of the UK’s most innovative knowledge transfer partnerships of the past 50 years, winning both the 2025 Business Transformation Award and a Silver Medal in the Golden KTP Awards at the Innovate UK ceremony.
At the centre of this innovation is SAIFx® technology, the proprietary approach that powers every GMPriority Pharma and lipolife® product. SAIFx® represents a quality-by-design philosophy, embedding scientific precision, reliability and innovation into every stage of development and manufacturing. This ensures that each product delivers stable, efficient, and authenticated liposomal formulations, setting a new standard in nutraceutical and skincare science.
So, what’s a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)?
In simple terms, it’s a collaborative initiative between a business and an academic institution designed to drive innovation, solve real-world challenges and create lasting impact. Our partnership with ARU is a perfect example of how combining scientific expertise and entrepreneurial drive can lead to transformative outcomes.
Innovation at the heart of lipolife®
GMPriority Pharma is the UK’s first manufacturer to specialise exclusively in liposomal nutraceuticals and skincare products, providing both production and research services. This in-house capability has been a game-changer for lipolife®, allowing us to take full control of formulation quality and consistency.
Led by Professor Mohammad Najlah and ARU’s expertise, we’ve improved stability, bioavailability and overall product quality, ensuring that every lipolife® product delivers the best possible results for our customers.

A Legacy of Collaboration and Excellence
The Golden KTP Awards were created to mark the 50th anniversary of the Innovate UK KTP programme, recognising the most innovative projects from around 16,000 partnerships since 1975. Being acknowledged as one of the most impactful partnerships over five decades is a tremendous honour and a testament to the power of collaboration between academia and industry.
“Commissioning and owning a state-of-the-art production facility supported by full-scale R&D laboratories, is a journey that we are extremely proud to have helped facilitate,” says Professor Mohammad Najlah.
“This project has transformed the industry and created incredible opportunities for researchers to translate their knowledge from lab bench to store shelves. To win this award and be recognised as one of the most impactful partnerships in the past 50 years is a true honour.”
SAIFx® technology isn’t just a process, it’s the foundation of everything we do, ensuring that every lipolife® product delivers on our promise of science-driven innovation and tangible results.

This award is not simply a recognition of our achievements, it’s a celebration of the collaboration, expertise and vision that allows us to continue developing science-driven products that make a real difference for our customers.
